A new Five hotel is expected to open in the United Arab Emirates.
Five Beach, which was previously under construction as Corinthia in the Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai, was acquired by Five and subsequently renamed.
It is slated to open in 2023, featuring 227 suites, 102 serviced residences, seven dining and nightlife venues, a spa, a social pool and a private beach.
Thanks to its JBR location, the property overlooks the Arabian Sea and offers views of Ain Dubai.
It will be the third hotel in the Five portfolio in the emirate, alongside the Five Palm Jumeirah and the Five Jumeirah Village, and the fourth hotel overall when Five Zurich opens in 2022.
“This exciting new acquisition will meet our overwhelming demand from millennials and millennials as we plan to raise the bar with Five Beach as a must-see destination in Dubai,” said Kabir Mulchandani, President of Five Holdings.
More details on the hotel’s offerings are expected to be announced closer to its opening date.
The first international hotel of the Five brand is expected to open in Switzerland next year.
The brand said of the project: “This newly renovated lifestyle hotel and Swiss hotspot which has previously been visited by Rihanna, Freddy Mercury, Grace Jones and Muhammad Ali as regular guests, overlooks the city center from Zurich’s beautiful Uetliberg Plateau and will seamlessly bring together the best of Swiss hospitality with Five’s signature flair for an exceptionally indulgent experience for city guests and international visitors. “
